The register
Registro Italiano Miura
Hundreds of largely unpublished data and information, some unknown: bodywork, engine, interior. Facts, curiosities and offers on cars, spare parts, books and 'miurabilia' will be shared in the world's largest community for owners of a car that is an icon of Italian creative genius.
The Miura was like an extraordinary lover for me.
Inconvenient, very expensive.
But unforgettable.
Ferruccio Lamborghini
(Pasini, Lamborghini Miura, 1988)

RIM Testimonials
The “characters”
of the Miura world
Engineers, creatives, designers, mechanics, bodyworkers, electricians, upholsterers, tyre specialists. Miura specialists tell their story, the link between the car and their land, the memories and anecdotes scattered along the road travelled by the Miura in sixty years of life. Among them Ferruccio, the man who before anyone else imagined that road.

history and passion
60 years of a Diva
YESTERDAY
Presented at the Turin Motor Show in November 1965, the Miura’s chassis and transversely mounted V12 engine attracted immediately enormous interest. The embryo of the Miura was born, conceived by the genius of Lamborghini, Dallara and Stanzani, and dressed just a month later by the elegant hand of Marcello Gandini.

TODAY
Among the world’s most desirable and sought-after collector’s cars, the Miura is now experiencing a second season of splendour. Just over 400 examples have survived the test of time, and they carry with them a very special story, in which the fate of the car intertwines with that of its owners, and forms an exciting tale that unfolds over the decades.
TOMORROW
The Registro Italiano Miura tackles the complexities of the Miura from an historical, technical and scientific point of view, to offer owners unique solutions in the process of recovering historical sources, rebuilding, repairing and putting back their Miura on the road.
