Miura P400

274 built

Presented in embryo, with only chassis and engine, at the Turin Motor Show in November 1965, it attracted enormous interest. Nuccio Bertone proposed to ‘dress it up’ and entrusted the task to Marcello Gandini, who created one of the most extraordinary works of art on wheels ever conceived. The Maestro completed the design on 24 December 1965 and, in his words, ‘we beated the baby Jesus by a day’…! The first car, chassis number 0862, was delivered one year  later, on 29 December 1966 to the Lambocar dealer in Milan, marquis Gerino Gerini, who immediately drove the car to Cortina d’Ampezzo to present it to the international elite.
